My “get skinny and stay pretty” rules
Hi everyone!
Here’s my list of rules and tips I have for when I’m restricting and want to keep looking good.
You’ll find diet tips and maybe some random stuff that keep me motivated…
Hope it works for you too and feel free to add others.
And most of all… STAY SAFE
- Stay hydrated. Drink as much water as you can.
- Your routine diet should include as much veggies as you can, proteins such as cheese and eggs and just a few carbs.
- Have salads for lunch and dinner. Grate carrots and cabbage, beetroot, raw broccoli. Those are full with vitamin C and antioxidants. And when you grate them it looks like you’re going to eat so much of it. But still it’s just one carrot and one beetroot ;)
- For dressing my salads I always make a low cal vinaigrette with some: oil, vinegar, water and mustard. My favorites are apple cider vinegar, olive oil and Dijon mustard.
- It is essential that you have proteins, calcium and potassium. These prevent the cramps you get on your legs and arms. Try having some milk in the morning, a banana for a snack or a slice of cheese for snack too :)
- Don’t forget the fruits! Maybe you don’t want to have dinner because you’re seriously restricting, but you could have an apple or a pear in the evening! It’s better to have these instead of feeling super hungry and craving for pizza! Plus, fruits are full with vitamins and they make your skin glow :)
- If you want to have the nicest skin, don’t forget your juices! Orange juice or any kind of citric work wonders on the skin. Since I started having the juice of three oranges once every two or three days my skin looks radiant like it never has before!
- Once more I’m gonna talk to you about the importance of eating cheese and some carbs. By having fruits and veggies only your flora intestinal will make you go to the bathroom and poop liquids all the time (yeah, disgusting but I wanted to be clear on this subject. And you don’t want to see the grated beetroot pieces when you poop). Having a balanced diet keeps you healthy and prevents you from having those side effects of restricting certain food groups.
- Stay away from certain poisons! Sugar! Salt! Mayonnaise! Sodas! When you quit them you will notice the difference right away..My rings started to fall off and that’s because I was longer retaining liquid. You’ll feel lighter.
- Coffee in the morning helps you boost your metabolism and is a great way to start the day.
As you can tell all these tips can transform into a routine that you can easily follow. I don’t want my hair to fall off and my skin to look awful. I don’t want people to tell me how skinny and ugly I look because of the under eye circles and how close to death I look! Neither should you. You have to stay healthy.
There are many more tips:
- Keep your skin always moisturized. Do this in the morning and at night before you go to bed.
- Night creams are usually more dense and rich in nutrients than day creams. Make sure you know the difference and have two different creams.
- When you get home from school or college or work, make sure your skin is cleaned from all the pollution and smoke and cigarette smoke. Use a cleansing milk and remove everything with a piece of cotton. Now you can put the night cream.
- When you go out put sunscreen on your face. It will prevent wrinkles. Put the sunscreen after the day cream.
- Don’t rub your face with scrubs or peelings. It only damages the outer layer of skin and you could end up having rosácea or worsening your acne.
- Try to work out the most you can. I mean, take always the stairs, walk everywhere you can, carry heavy things if you can, dance in your bedroom, clean your bedroom often, do lifts if possible, be quick!
- Listen to music, watch your favorite movies or series, read books, paint, be close the nature and your pets. Smile to your friends. Be with them and allow yourself to have dinners all together. One pizza a week won’t make you fat.
So that’s basically it! It all comes from the heart and I’m sure it will help you stay motivated and embrace new and healthy habits.
I had a BYOM (bring your own mug) party for Hot Cocoa and Scary Movies.
I invited 20+ girls and no one came.
One person finally showed and then left after a while.
This was the night I realized I had absolutely no friends.
I want to wither away until I am nothing.
I’m starting a cleanse because I feel like absolute shit from binging and treating my body like this is unacceptable. These are the rules I’m following. I used to actually eat like this all the time from like April-August and I lost 45lbs so I need to get back to it. I’ll slowly add in limited whole grains and possibly nuts/beans once I feel like I have control again. Also it is easier to hide an eating disorder behind a seemingly healthy diet/dietary restrictions (I became a vegetarian)
1. Any food you eat has to be nutritious.
2. No added sugar, processed foods, oils, sweeteners, fats, or liquid calories
3. Drink at least 5 cups of tea a day - no coffee (I can only drink coffee with sweetener and I need to chill with the articifial sweeteners it’s hurting my gums)
4. Safe foods:
-all fruits
-all veggies* (excluding potatoes/corn/avocado)
-non fat protein sources (Greek yogurt, light tofu, unsweetened almond milk, egg whites)
5. Be active: go to the gym or exceed 10,000 steps per day
6. Set an attainable calorie limit and do not exceed it
7. Stay hydrated: at least 96 ounces of water a day
7. Don’t weigh yourself until you have followed this for an entire week
